We’re looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager / Director to join us in taking Aion to the next level. You will work closely with Sales and Product teams, playing an essential role in Aion’s growth. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities. You will have the support of agencies and the autonomy to make decisions about how to prioritize. As the business grows, you will also have the flexibility to begin building out a team to take over these responsibilities. This is a full-time remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define marketing KPIs and forecasts, and continually measure, analyze, and report on performance
  • Create and manage a budget across all functions of Aion marketing
  • Drive pipeline and revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns across channels
  • Craft product messaging and positioning based on deep knowledge of Aion customers, the competitive landscape, and market conditions
  • Develop, manage, and execute demand generation strategies including paid advertising (search, social, industry publications), content marketing (blogs, eBooks, case studies, webinars, etc.), email marketing, and events
  • Implement event strategy ensuring seamless execution of all events including pre- and post-event communications
  • Own the marketing tech stack ensuring tools are vetted, implemented, and optimized to support marketing initiatives
  • Own the Aion website, maintaining, optimizing, and updating copy and design for the website and landing pages
  • Develop, manage, and execute customer marketing program (product update communications, initiatives to drive feature adoption and plan upgrades, evangelism and referral programs)
  • Manage the press and PR strategy including press releases, media mentions, sponsored content, and speaking opportunities

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years marketing experience with a focus on demand gen
  • 2+ years experience working at a startup
  • Experience vetting and managing agencies
  • Experience hiring and managing full-time employees
  • Experience working cross functionally to align and strategize with leaders from different departments
  • Ownership mentality — prefers autonomy and gets excited about being a key stakeholder in the org
  • Ability to balance doing and delegating – you can see the big picture and make strategic, data-informed decisions. But you can also roll your sleeves up to get the job done
