We’re looking for a demand generation marketer to join us in taking Aion to the next level. You will work closely with Sales and Product teams, playing an essential role in Aion’s growth. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities. You will have the support of agencies and the autonomy to make decisions about how to prioritize. As the business grows, you will also have the flexibility to begin building out a team to take over these responsibilities. This is a full-time remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Launch a customer acquisition strategy for Aion products
- Craft product messaging and positioning based on deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, market conditions, and Aion customers
- Own all functions of demand gen including email marketing, paid advertising, content marketing, events, and social media
- Create and manage a budget across all demand generation activities
- Define marketing goals and KPIs – continually measuring, analyzing, and reporting on performance
- Own the Aion website, maintaining, optimizing, and updating copy and design for the website and landing pages
- Own the marketing tech stack, ensuring tools are vetted, implemented, and optimized to support marketing initiatives
- Drive brand awareness through digital marketing, press, and PR
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years marketing experience with a focus on demand gen
- 2+ years experience working at a startup
- Experience vetting and managing agencies
- Experience hiring and managing full-time employees
- Experience working cross functionally to align and strategize with leaders from different departments
- Ownership mentality — prefers autonomy and gets excited about being a key stakeholder in the org
- Ability to balance doing and delegating – you can see the big picture and make strategic, data-informed decisions. But you can also roll your sleeves up to get the job done
